UNIIN B.V., a private company with limited liability, incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands, which has its registered office at Nieuwezijds Kolk 15,1012 PV, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, registered under chamber of commerce number 85376965 (hereafter: “UNIIN”) respects your privacy.
UNNIIN sells baby carriers to consumers through the internet.
We fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation and other regulations regarding the processing of personal data and privacy. In this Privacy Policy you can read what kind of personal data we collect and how we store, protect and use your personal data. Furthermore, you can read for which purposes we will use your personal data and with whom your data will be shared. In this Privacy Policy, your "personal data" means information or pieces of information that could allow you to be identified as a person.
Which personal data do we process?
UNIIN collects your personal data when user accounts in related IT systems are being created in order to place orders for the baby carriers.
UNIIN processes information obtained from yourself on the basis of your consent. Processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract or on the basis that the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests of UNIIN. These legitimate interests are that the processing of the personal data is necessary for UNIIN to be able to identify you.
The mandatory personal data UNIIN collects are:
Nominative Information: Title, first name(s), surname(s): Your nominative details are needed to properly identify you, to communicate with you, to provide you with the products and services you have requested.
Address and telephone number: We need your address in order to send the purchased baby carrier to you. Your telephone number is needed to inform you about the purchase if necessary.
Email address: Electronic communication is for most purposes UNIIN’s preferred method of communication because it is generally convenient, rapid, effective, environmental friendly and efficient. In order to be able to communicate with you directly electronically, UNIIN needs your email address. Finally, it enables you to recover your password in case you forgot it in an automated, secure way.
IP address: Your last used IP address is stored to facilitate location-based services such as, but not limited to nearby cities and / or airports as well as general security against unauthorized access to your account.
In some cases, we ask you for additional information if this is needed for the sale of products and/or services provided by UNIIN. For example, UNIIN processes payment information provided by you, if such information is necessary.
How do we use your personal data?
We use and process the personal data you have provided us with for the purposes described below.
- We use your e-mail address and personal details to send you information and updates and to accept you as a user. We may also send you information about topics that might be interesting for you. You can unsubscribe from these services at any time.
- In case we cannot identify you, we will ask for more detailed information such as your ID. We will erase this information directly after you have been identified by us.
- We use the data about your browser language, your IP address and geolocation in order to address you in a language you speak and to show you content that relates to the country you reside in.
- In case of fraud, we will share your personal data with the victim in order to allow this person to file a report with the police. We will not share more data than necessary for the report, and we will notify you in advance when we are about to share your data for this purpose.
Storage
Your information will be kept in our database until two years after your purchase.
Personal information is only kept for a reasonable period of time, dependent upon the nature of the information and its intended use, but subject to a maximum of one year after the purchase of the baby carriers.
Who do we share your personal data with?
UNIIN does not sell, trade, or rent personal data to third parties.
Third-party service providers
In order to render our services, there are data that we will need to share with third-party service providers.
Personal data are only shared with processors and/or third parties if this is necessary to carry out services for you. All processors have guaranteed that they comply with the GDPR and have signed (processing) agreements with us.
Other third parties have no access to personal data.
Generic aggregated (non-personal) data
We may share generic aggregated data with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers. In such case the data will be fully anonymized.
Generic aggregated data may be used to identify technical or development problems within UNIIN or backend systems.
How do we protect your personal data?
We protect your personal data from unauthorized or unlawful access, alteration, disclosure, use or destruction. We encrypt our services using SSL, the data is only accessible through a secret password and digital signatures, and our employees only have access to your data on a need-to-know basis. We use appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices.
